A very nice black boy of eight months very well grown and in full coat with extra long ruff that just framed his large round head. Smooth forehead with neat well placed ears and well furnished. Round orange eyes with short snub nose and well formed leather, good bite and firm chin. Very well covered large chunky body with broad shoulders and rump. Short legs and tail. Coat very well presented long and flowing fairly sound to the roots but his ruff still a little grey and bib. A very nice boy lovely temperament, congratulation on BIS longhaired kitten.

2ND. HIGGINS HEATHROSE BARNEY RUBBLE – Super Black young boy, wearing a very long soft coat, full frill framing his strong head good width, small ears, big round muddy brown eyes, short nose, firm chin. Coat still showing some kitten shading to side and ruff, tiny fluffy tail to balance – very promising little lad.

A very well grown and promising baby who felt really muscular and solid for just four months; he was so confident with such an endearing character that I feel certain he is going to make a good show cat! His head was round with excellent breadth to the skull; the cheeks were full as was the muzzle. He had small ears that were rounded at the tips and set wide apart and low on the head. They fitted well into the contours and were very well furnished. In profile the forehead was nicely rounded with a short, broad nose and a stop. The nose leather was fully formed. He was obviously teething but all seemed fine with his bite. Strong chin. His eyes were large, set well apart, full and round. At present the colour is developing but it looked promising to me. He had a bold, cheeky expression. Cobby body with breadth to the chest and he stood low on short, strong, sturdy legs and large, round, well tufted paws. Short bushy tail that balanced well. He has his baby coat, but it was a good length, thick, fine and silky. The black was virtually sound with minimal shading. Beautifully presented in excellent condition, a pleasure to judge!
